In this issue of the „Studia Prawnicze” we present articles concerning legal problems relevant for theory of law and important for its the practical application. The issue opens with the article indicating the necessity for amendments of Polish criminal law in order to ensure effective prosecution of international crimes (P. Grzebyk, H. Kuczyńska, K.
