We are pleased to present to you the current issue of Studia Prawnicze, offering another selection of interesting and up to date reflections in the field of law. It includes studies on tax law (P. Piasecka), private international law (W. Wydmański), as well as an article situated at the intersection of these two areas (M. Czerwiński). The following two articles address legal issues in the United States of America (K. Jabłoński) and the Czech Republic (K. Kamińska). The issue concludes with a study concerning the transparency of the United Nations Human Rights Council’s Universal Periodic Review process (W. Bilińska).
