Z przyjemnością prezentujemy numer 2/2022 „Studiów Prawniczych”, w którym publikujemy artykuły będące rezultatem wystąpień w trakcie LXIV Zjazdu Katedr i Zakładów Prawa Konstytucyjnego zorganizowanego przez INP PAN (25–26 maja 2022 r.) w 25. rocznicę przyjęcia w drodze referendum Konstytucji RP. Konferencja poświęcona była wykładni i stosowaniu norm konstytucyjnych przez sądy i trybunały.
Publikowane teksty nakreślają trzy perspektywy badawcze. Pierwsza obejmuje ewolucję interpretacji art. 8 Konstytucji RP (H. Suchocka) i teoretyczne założenia obowiązującego w polskim systemie prawnym modelu kontroli konstytucyjności (L. Garlicki, M. Granat). Druga to rozważania prezentujące proces wykładni i stosowania norm konstytucyjnych w sprawach dotyczących konstytucyjnych praw i wolności (M. Gutowski), w postępowaniach cywilnych (J. Podkowik) oraz w toku sądowej kontroli administracji (M. Masternak-Kubiak). Trzecia perspektywa to sposób interpretacji i stosowania norm konstytucyjnych przez Europejski Trybunał Praw Człowieka (A. Mężykowska) oraz Trybunał Sprawiedliwości Unii Europejskiej (N. Półtorak).

In this issue of Studia Prawnicze we publish articles that result from speeches during the LXIV Congress of Chairs and Departments of Constitutional Law, organised by the ILS PAS (25–26 May 2022) on the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland by referendum. The conference was devoted to courts’ and tribunals’ interpretation and application of constitutional norms.
The texts published herein present three research perspectives. The first includes evolution of interpretations of Art. 8 of the Polish Constitution (H. Suchocka) and theoretical assumptions for the choice of the constitutional review model used in the Polish legal system (L. Garlicki and M. Granat). The second presents the process of interpreting and applying constitutional norms in cases concerning constitutional rights and freedoms (M. Gutowski), in civil proceedings (J. Podkowik) and in the judicial control over administration (M. Masternak-Kubiak). The third perspective considers how constitutional norms are interpreted and applied by the European Court of Human Rights (A. Mężykowska) and the Court of Justice of the EU (N. Półtorak).
