Abstract

The authors of the article address the issue of the state's liability for damage caused by the activities of state bodies, which is also linked to the property liability of employees who are the direct perpetrators of the damage. The development of the institution of state property liability for the actions of public officials is linked to the development of the rule of law. The authors describe the formation of state property liability in socialist countries, presenting the normative basis of liability and its scope.
