Abstract

The creation of joint economic units creates favourable conditions for the concentration of financial resources, organisational experience and technical achievements of manufacturers from different countries. It entails the need to expand, and sometimes to elaborate anew, the complex of rules of a public-legal nature establishing the conditions for foreigners to undertake and carry out economic activities on the territory of socialist countries. The author presents the legal regulation of business activities with foreign investors in Yugoslavia, Hungary and Romania. Next, the author of the article presents the joint economic activities in the absence of specific legal regulation in countries such as Bulgaria, the GDR and the USSR. He also presents the state of legislation in Poland.
